Icelandic language is the hardest, at least according to a BBC documentary where they had this crazy guy learn it in a few months.
But I agree, Scottish accent is barely English anymore.

there's quite a few accents accross the UK that are quite hard to understand when spoken fast, like Scottish, Scouse, Geordie. The Irish are a nightmare to understand when their accent is strong too. I sound like a farmer boy

Yeah I've noticed while studying Swedish that the grammar is quite similiar to English. That's probably why I find Swedish pretty easy to learn.

I don't see English as a difficult language. For me it just comes really naturally. German on the other hand is harder. I would love to be as good at it as I am at English but I'm not. Hopefully someday I will be.

I read my post again and realized I may have sounded more aggressive than I meant to. I just prefer to listen to people who are better at pronuncing English words than some people I know.

I can't understand a damn thing in Spanish and Spanish is very close to Portuguese (my mother language). They're both pretty hard to learn, English is easiest for me.
My grades in school are from 0 to 100. I always get 100 in english and about 70 in spanish and portugese haha

I was even better in English than in German (my mother language) but that was probably due to my lack of interest for literature. I always liked English for it's sound and today it almost feels like my mother language, although I rarely actually speak English. I pretty much only write in English.

Swedes have this habit of making english sound like english mixed with swedish, it's called swenglish. It sounds something like this.

In swiiiden vi dånt hav ani påår pipel. Do jo pipel have påår pipel in jår cåntris? Bicås vi dånt.
