Going to see Frank Turner in June!

So apparently Frank Turner is coming to Israel for 2 shows in June, so i'm definitely not going to miss this!!
He's playing in two cities in really small places.. the one in Tel Aviv where i'm going to see him is this bar/club that is smaller than some of the places I've played with my band haha but I guess cuz its an acousic show.
Anyone seen him live? Is he good live?

Apparently at the Tel Aviv show he'll be supported by a bunch of Israeli singer-songwriters and punk rock bands who are all gonna play acoustic sets, which is interesting, cuz one band - Missing In Action is a metalcore band which is also playing Wacken this year and they are also playing acoustic supporting Frank.

I haven't gotten the chance to see him live yet. I missed him last year in September for my college graduation (Frank Turner headlining with the freakin' Gaslight Anthem!!! Still can't believe I missed it).

Though, yeah if it's going to be a small intimate kind of show, then it'll probably be something like this:

lucky bastard! imo, Frank is much better on his own for an intimate acoustic show then when he has his band with him. I've seen him 3 times, twice with his full band in headline shows in venues with a capacity of 900 & 1500, and once on his own supporting The Gaslight Anthem in a 700 capacity venue. hopefully everyone else at the show knows him well and knows the lyrics, cos there's nothing better than everyone in the venue singing along to every word and seeing Frank with that huge grin!

Looks like his live shows are loads of fun. Thing is..weird he's coming to Israel, he's pretty fuckin' unknown in here, I don't know anyone who knows him hehe, I doubt it people will be singing the lyrics and all at the show but I might be wrong and I just haven't met all the people here who know and love his music. I'll find out at his show in June :D

yea, there must be some people who know and love him, otherwise he wouldn't do a show there! he's probably had loads of requests to go out there for a couple of shows and now his people have organised some shows for him.

Yeah, that might be the case. He does two shows here on June 4 and June 6, in two different cities, although in two places that are even smaller than the places I played with my band in haha. Hope its gonna be fun.

Apparenly Frank's show in Tel Aviv costs 30 shekels , which is like 6 euros or 5 bucks haha, and it features additional acoustic sets of 11 Israeli rock and metal bands.

Yeah, its that kind of show haha. Only it lasts all day, with 11 other bands playing acoustic sets through the day. I guess Frank will go last, sometime at the evening/night. The whole thing starts at noon.
