Haha, I think that's gonna be too much work + too hard for most of people. But it would probably work pretty good, gotta agree on that.

There are easy to use IRC webclients and even regular IRC isn't that hard once you got the basic principle. I wouldn't worrie about too much work. We don't even need an own server or big scripts for that, just a channel on any network and a few people like me, who are familiar with IRC, operating and moderating it.

Too many attentionwhores, not enough actually interesting questions and I could've answered most of the interview questions "better" than him (not trying to be an ass, I hope you know what I mean). Some were quite good, but we all know he likes to answer in short repetative statements, so you need to phrase questions accordingly to get actually new and interesting information.

To be honest, I didn't care too much about the chat itself, because I knew pretty much what he was going to say and it wouldn't be much. It's the reason why he is a great musician. I'm just glad that he cares enough about us, to take some time and try.
Mostly my opinion too.

Thanks Heather, these chats are really nice!
And I'm glad the interview part was longer, since nearly all the interesting answers came from that part.

As I expected, the free chat got out of hand. Even though there weren't any "Are you coming to Chile" questions, there were a lot of "Say hi to Brazil" and "We love vodka in Russia" statements. Those could've been left out.

I don't know if I'm only one with this, but I don't really like the commenting by the members between the questions and answers. Especially with 30+ members in chat, it was quite hard to find which question Deryck answered. In the rules Heather stated that
The rules have been addressed on the forums and in your invitations. They include not commenting during the interview, not asking questions until Free Chat is announced, and asking only appropriate questions.
I would've appreciated if everyone followed the rules, but I guess it's too much to ask with all the fangirls out there. :silly:

But other than this, it was nice to have D in for chat!
About the answers he gave, I'm surprised Skumfuk made it to the final titles. I was sure it was just a working title.

I appreciate the support and feedback guys. Evan hosts a Ustream chat every Sunday and I've noticed its hard for him to read everything in the chat unless its on slow mode. He tried SayNow for a little while too, sometimes it was good, sometimes not. Tsuua and I have looked into it though, so you never know. I really can't control what the other people post, just the interview questions. I said not to comments during the interview and only make relevant post in free chat or follow up questions, but again, only so much I can do. I tried to control it as best I could. Tsuua was troubleshooting for the chat on the forum and such and I'm not sure if the mods knew what to do, so I kept having to step in

Yeah I know, you did everything you could.
I don't blame you, I'm just disappointed how some of the members act despite the rules. :silly:

But yeah, it wasn't as disastrous as it could've been. You did great work with this!
And it was really nice of him to come and chat with us, I really appreciate it.

To even get Deryck out of bed is a fuckin' win in my book. So great work, and thank you.

Great, now I got some sort of phantom pain in my left eye socket just thinking of that.
