as for backing vocals i dont find them "horrible" they are ok

Studio backing vocals and live backing vocals are going to sound different

just because Tom cant hit high notes live to your satisfaction doesnt mean he cant sing

id prefer Tom to sing live naturaly instead of using this auto-tune if it is going to make him sound fake that just aint right so what if its a big performance on tv or that its better to sing something naturaly than have it botched and not all you
Yeah, we pretty much all agree that he can sing - just not those typical high-pitched harmonic backing vocals. What you describe as okay though, pretty much means horrible when you put it in perspective. If this was 2000 and they were on their first real tour, it would be okay. But they had almost 3 years now to realize that some of those backings just don't work if they are not properly done like in the studio. You can't really blame Tom for that, because he is certainly doing his best (and by the way doing an amazing job as the lead guitarist) and my guess is that Deryck just told him to do backing vocals the way they are on the record and that's what he tries to do. I wonder whether they (the band or anyone else around them) don't care, don't notice or just don't think that it is that bad.

And I noticed: In Makes No Difference, Tom sings an octave lower than the backing vocals are on the record, which sounds fine. He should do that in some of the other songs too or just support the lead vocals if it would be too low and let Cone do the shouting.

Oh ok... You still better change your grammar to more reader-friendly, your text is usually really hard to understand!

Short and condensed is fine as long as you can tell the point. Just try using this more like a forum instead of a one-liner chat and it's all good.

Wow, that hairstyle really fits him! Much better than the lousy mohawk he's had on-off for a loooong time.

Did something happen to Deryck's front teeth? It looks weird from the below camera angle and I really haven't seen his rabbit-like front teeth in ages.. they made him look so much more friendly.
