Re: Sum show live stream
Alright Tom should use a pedal and Deryck should go back to an SG. His SG sounded the heaviest and had the best tone live compared to those fucking Telecasters. FUCK THE TELECASTERS.
There we go, problem solved. Someone call Deryck and inform him of the situation.

Re: Sum show live stream
That is just a very low quality video and Tom's single-note-part guitar tone is intentional and doesn't sound that different to the one on the record. The rest is just too fucked up by the datacompression to actually be able to tell if it's good or not.
And it is not really about the Telecasters with Deryck. Even I can make a badass guitar tone with a cheap Squier Tele and my Toneport amp modeler, so that can't be the reason.
About the clothing: I agree those tight pants look ridiculous but I really don't care about their look as long as they don't start acting serious and meaningful about it, which up to this point I'm happy they never did. They could play their show in sweat pants and T-shirt or all suited up - as long as it is still about the music, I'm happy.

Re: Sum show live stream
I think that was only temporary because Deryck had trouble with the high notes on the bridge part, but I'm not entirely sure.spider-man wrote:that still waiting video above there is played in drop C#....that's a full step down from the normal half step they do it live now.

Re: Sum show live stream
yeah actually it sounds WAY better to me, because here he can actually scream the words like they should be. where in normal key, he's trying so hard to just hit the notes that he can't put any scream in it...at least it seems that way to me.

Re: Sum show live stream
I think that during the UH era he just needed to turn up the volume on his tele. When I saw them live in Brixton, I couldn't really tell because ofc like any rock gig you are blasted in the face with the rhythm section. But generally on vids I've seen (take the live studio of UH on release day), his guitar is so quiet. I don't think it's an issue of using telecasters. And obviously he's gonna play the tele as it's his sig guitar.peacock41 wrote:kILLDR3n wrote:Alright Tom should use a pedal and Deryck should go back to an SG. Re: Sum show live stream
That might be the official recap of the show because the video seems to have a much better image quality than my webstream recording. Audio seems to be the same though.peacock41 wrote:so anyway where can i get a non water mark vids
