Wrong. Not only the begining, but later on in the song they have another part that' is like the exact thing. and the riffs going out of the chorus sound similarTiny wrote:No just the beginning. And its No apologies.LukeTheSpook wrote:another thing i somehow missed in my earlier post was one of those bonus tracks for Underclass Hero (not this is goodbye, but the other one, can't remember the name right now) sounds like Attitude by the misfits but i think they were trying to do that...

I'll state an obvious one:
The Bitter End and Metallica's Battery
Dave said it himself that the first time he and Deryck recorded it, that that's what it sounded like. So that's my main reason. Plus the legion of angry Metallica fans that agree. But a lot of them can be dicks.
No Reason's vocal melody during the verses is pretty much the same as the vocal melody on the verses of One Step Closer by Linkin Park. That's pretty much the only similarity those two songs have.
The chorus melody of Walking Disaster is pretty close to the chorus melody of First Date by Blink 182.
I can't get this one off the top of my head, but Welcome to Hell sounds like a song by The Offspring.

Also, Best Of Me is the same melody as The Reason By Hoobastank.
but i dissagree with hoobastanks no reason.
the song sounds totally different to me. and about the guitar...in hobbastanks no reason its all time the sime, no piano and boring drums...

^^[NC] wrote:another one, Pull The Curtain, at the part where deryck whispers a few lines, sounds like an MCR song (not a particular one, but just the style)
agreed...although the only one i could think of was the Black Parade
only because i hate MCR...and thats one of the few songs i've herd by them
and it also changes the 'style' of the song a couple times...kind like the black parade

the line "Take your life and lead you" reminds "Though your dead and gone believe me".
the notes that he sings... really close to WTTBP.
