I've updated the first post again, all the dates that have been announced so far (on their official website & myspace) are now in the first post. I'll update again as soon as more dates have been announced.

Waiting is always bad when it comes to buying tickets.
They've only booked two shows of their own, Munich and Luxembourg.

Their Facebook account said the new tour dates are now posted, so does it mean no new dates anymore?
One of their tweets in January said: "Booking shows as we speak - We'll be in the UK soon!"
So I got the idea they would be in UK this time around.

Now the Luxembourg is already sold out. I'd rather go to UK, but I really want to see the guys on this tour, so I can't wait much longer. :confusion:

I've been checking every other day for UK dates, and nothing as of yet, not even any rumours. the only thing I can think of is they are maybe playing a festival or 2 here, and have to wait for the festival to officially confim they are playing before they can post the dates on the site/myspace.

if they're still in Europe around the start of June, then they could be playing Download festival (11th-13th), the next lot of bands to be announced for this is 14th March. if not Download, then they could be coming back over this way after their stint on the Warped Tour, they could be playing Reading/Leeds festival at the end of August, the first announcement for this is 29th March.

guess we'll just have to wait and see! I'll everyone posted if I find/hear of anything else.

an update regarding the UK, Download Festival are announcing a group of bands on 22/03/2010 (next Monday), around 20 bands are being announced, fingers crossed Sum 41 are one of them!

Reading/Leeds festival have their first announcement 29/03/2010, this is usually for around 20/30 bands I believe, mostly the main stage bands and some 2nd stage bands. with some of the bands rumoured for this festival this year there is a chance Sum 41 could play.

if not festivals then some healdining shows could happen, though if they are going to happen in their European tour before Warped Tour, I'd expect to hear some news on shows very soon.

I believe a couple more festival apperances have been added for the upcoming tour?

Okay, since receiving Cone's reply (no more individual shows this time in EU), and the fact that Luxembourg was already sold out, I bought a ticket to the Munich show. And since none of my friends are fans enough to travel with me, I'm going there all by myself.

But hell yeah I'm excited to see them again! :devious:

Still have to find a decent place to stay. Any ideas? :silly:

yea, if they were playing Download I would of expected them to be announced on Monday. I can still see them being announced for Reading/Leeds with some of the ther bands that are rumoured, we'll have to wait and see on Monday if it happens. unless they play the Lock Up Stage then it won't be announced til like June.

but yea, if they don't play either of those festivals then I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see them until winter for a full headline tour.

If we can believe last.fm Sum 41 play Leeds Festival on August 27th. So maybe they will play a few other shows in Europe arround the end of August/ beginning of September.

When I was in Munich with some friends once, we stayed in a hostel. Idk if you had that in mind, but this is where I was, and I was quite satisfied. It was only 1 night though. http://www.aohostels.com/en/

more Download bands are being announced tonight, though it looks like it will just be bands for the smaller stages so I'm not expecting Sum 41 to be announced.

hopefully they will be announced in the next Reading/Leeds announcement, they would fit perfectly on the Blink 182 day

If they were on the Blink 182 day I'd be even more tempted to get a ticket just for that day!

The opening band for their gigs in Luxembourg and Munich (the one I'm going to) is a Canadian band called Four Square.
Never heard of it, but looked it up and its front man is no other than Simon Head.
I bet the partying in Europe will be close to getting out of hand. :devious:

Also, they have a new album which has just come out. And the album includes a track with a guitar solo by no other than Dave Brownsound.

Oh what the fuck!

This fucking volcano in Iceland is covering the whole airspace in Northern Europe.
So even if the Sums can make it to Europe, it's really likely that I won't make it by the time their Munich show starts.

FUCK!
