While I don't mind that the band gets drunk and party's (seriously, who hates parties?) I don't think that it's really necessary to include it in their Studio Updates, with the exception to maybe a couple of them. I understand if they don't want to give away too much. I'd rather be surprised when the album leaks and have each song being new to me.

Then again, we need to look at the context. It's Sum 41. Deryck pretty much faked being a retard to pass high school.

Yeah, I for one am quite glad they never ruined to much about the album. I want to hear it when the album comes out not when their in the middle of making the album.

Well, I agree with Jeremy. I don't mind them not giving out too much, but I don't think its just necessary to include all those drinking parties at the studio updates themselves hehe. I remember the first party update was just a whole update of them partying in the house... I don't think this update has anything to do with music or guitars haha.

Me too, I think Deryck is pulling this off well. Giving us updates/ tidbits but not spoiling everything. In the end, I'm sure we'll all be thankful they did this. The partying I think is just something to keep us interested in what's going on.

Probably. And i'm wondering something, in all those performances Deryck does with other artists he only uses the Les Paul. Does this mean he's done with the Tele? I hope so because i personally prefer Les Pauls any day.

Tele is very good, It's my favorite guitar, but Les Paul is great too, could give them a tighter live sound

He should try out some Boss pedals, they're renowned for being one of the best but what really is the best, I dunno, prob lot other good pedals out there, maybe those pedals are amazin

I'm thinkin' once they get to Update 41 we'll get either a single, song titles, or a release date.

If this album is planned for a July or August release, we should get a single in April or May.
