Re: Marshall Amp
Decent Marshall Amps are pretty expensive. The affordable MG Series apparently sucks balls, so I don't suggest that. I've been thinking of getting this for myself:sprinks41 wrote:i wanna ask for one for Christmas. i need an "affordable" price range tho cuz my family is not rich lol and i also have 2 younger brothers that my parents will have to buy for. could anyone that has knowledge in marshall or amps in general gimme any suggestions/recommendations on a particular model and possibly even website? i'd really appreciate it...

It's a tube combo amp and it's $700.
PS - I thought about getting an Orange amp, but they're pretty expensive for a decent one. They might not be in your price range unless you want a Tiny Terror or something, haha.

Re: Marshall Amp
If you want to upgrade from an existing amp, definitely go for a tube amp of some kind (assuming that your previous amp was a solid state). Most beginner amps are solid state.
I've also heard that the MG series sucks.

Re: Marshall Amp
You can't go wrong with a Marshall JCM800 or JCM 900 (used).
