This is an F U to everyone who told me I wasn't ready to shoot "big" bands.. (no one from this website, just photographers on flickr lol) :P
But seriously, concert photography is tricky.. I made so many mistakes, but I'm glad I did because now I can learn from them. I'm shooting All Time Low in less than two weeks.. and a few days after that, I'm shooting Weezer.

Shooting bands as in shooting for the fun of it or shooting bands as in they come to you and ask you to shoot them?

Nice shots, man
Is the D90 and the video option any good? I even planned on buying it, but i wasn't too sure about if it's worth it.Ch13 wrote:Yes it is.BurntToast wrote:Awesomeness, dude! The dude in the third picture is Nick Santino, right?

The photo quality is absolutely amazing. Everything about the D90 is perfect, when it comes to a camera.Janet wrote:Nice shots, man

I haven't used to video option too much yet.
If you can afford it, the D300s allows external mics for their videos, so that's probably a better option if videos are important to you. But if not, the D90 is great.

Nah, video option isn't that important at all. I'm looking to finally replace the Canon i have and perhaps try the Nikon and to be honest, heard that the D5000 isn't that good at all.Ch13 wrote:The photo quality is absolutely amazing. Canon T1i and Nikon D90's are great.
I wouldn't get a Nikon d5000 at all

If you're serious about it, definitely look at the high-range nikons/canons
