i cant do kickflips
but i never worked on them,heelflips seemed easier to me

I used to find heelflips far easier to land. when I first learnt flip tricks, I used to always end up kicking the board away with kickflips, but with heelflips it always used to flip underneath me feet so it was just a case of landing on the board.

with time and practice, you will learn the technique for staying above the board for kickflips. then you can throw them down some stairs and break your foot like I did.

and bobby yea ill always throw the board away when im tryin kickflips and i always land to the ground before the board but it flips great

cool, sounds like you just need to learn how to flip the board, while you stay above it. once you've got kickflips nailed then it opens a ton of new tricks. you need to keep you center of gravity directly over the board, along with your shoulder line. as long as you don't lean forwards, backwards etc you will have a far better chane of staying above the board and landing it

CONGRATS! I remembered the first time I landed and ollie.
I only got into skateboarding to be cool. I never really got the hang out it. I could ollie, but not while moving :( I would love to get back into skateboarding, but our skatepark is always being used by kids that I know and I wouldn't want to be embarresed. I think I'll just stick with hockey
