I mean I love Sum41 and all, and I bet this record will be amazing...
but they showed us like what... 3 different chords? 1 progression, and then some dead/palm muted notes?
No where near amazing... yet.
You guys act like the people that creamed their pants when the beginning of 21st Century Breakdown leaked... and it was 2 chords lol. Calm down, this is nothing yet...
For being only 14, you are quite the voice of reason. Haha!

That would be great actually. He's always talking about doing something he's never done before. A double album would be pretty cool.

It's just the fuckin intro!
Ya can't judge a song by 11 seconds of it.

he's not judging this "song" he's just saying how he was hoping for the guitar to be heavier =P
Children of the beast embrace,
To scorn and the human race,
Consume the light that hugs the earth,
And aid the womb in giving birth,
To a group that will appear,
And guide you through this final year,
The dark armies then will come,
When the sum is 41

I think it sounds similiar to "Always". If you listen closely you can hear lead guitar at 1:04.

Wow nice! I wonder why wouldn't Deryck just post the video update right away and why post a slideshow of pictures and only then the actual video.
And I saw him using the Rat distortion, nice! I also use that one all the time :D
