i was playing along to a cd (with my dvd player) and i set my amp beside the tv to reduce noise going downstairs.
all of a sudden, i noticed this weird red glow on the tv screen...

will this do any damage to my tv/amp? its never happened before and im asking just in case something breaks or blows up or something...
i dunno if this should be in tech support or musicians section or whatever...
i posted it here anyway...

that has NEVER happened to me....pretty weird.
id move the amp and tv away from each otehr...prolly some weird shit that happens with the reciever of the tv and the amp...

move it away from the tv since the amp has magnets if u leave it to long it will damage the colors of the screen

GET THE AMP THE FUCK AWAY FROM THERE! its got a magnet inside and is screwin up your tv if you leave it there long enough.

yeah, i moved the amp as far away as i could. it does seem more likely to fall over or something...
ill work something out...
i didnt know amps had magnets... why do they?

theres probably no reason, they probably just throw one in there to ruin tv's so you will have to buy new ones, its a big government conspiracy.

Yea, it's magnets. It does that to computers too.
I think it will eventually go away because this happened to me and over time it went away.

when i play my 360 for a while a green spot appears on my screen, but it goes away after a little while

yeah speakers and other magnetic stuff can skrew up the tv, has happened to mine before
