It's a 2nd anniversary for Underclass Hero.

Some think it's a masterpiece. Some think it's a piece of crap.

Do you guys still think the same way you did when it was released?
Have your thoughts changed after two years?

To me, after the release date, it was the best album I've ever listened to. I almost didn't listen to anything else for the next few months. I just loved it.

Now, it's a still great album. But now it isn't as clear favourite as it used to be. But still a good listen every once in a while.

Please guys, don't turn this into a bashing thread, talk legit stuff, or gtfo.
I personally think that it's absolute crap, and i pretty much don't have something else to say, so i'll gtfo.

if I just want to listen to something and not go rock crazy UH is the most artistic album. If you want to just let it all out and go wild I turn up the others. But I respect UH the most. Deryck put a lot of himself in those songs and I don't think that was easy for him to do.

Well, I just know that when it was released I thought it was the best thing ever and couldn't stop listening to it and stuff. Then after a while it god old and yeah, It wasn't as great as I thought. I mean, I don't think its absolute crap like most people. It has some awesome songs like Speak of the Devil and Count Your Last Blessings, but for the most part, its not a very upbeat album and stuff. But very artistic yeah. Not the Sums' best work but still good.

definitely their worst album IMO

I only like a few songs, and I thought Look At Me was the best on the album.

You used to be so hyper about Sum 41, and you hate them now.
You used to be so hyper about Goodnight Nurse, you rarely listen to them now.
You used to be all over A7X, not much now.
You used to get e-boners for 3Oh!3 (and every band Jordan likes), not so much now.
Now you're randomly into an old football player, whom i'm sure you'll forget in 2 weeks.

Sorry for being this mean, but she called Look At ME a dumb song!

I had the CD in my car all summer of 2007. I listened to the album front to back, never skipping a song. Fuck, I bought two copies of the exact same album because I downloaded the leak. Every song I listen to off this album is the sound of that summer.

Nonetheless, I was extremely disappointed with this album because I thought the musical direction wasn't going to change (that's what I remember Deryck saying anyway). The songs just sounded empty to me. I haven't listened to this album in a really long time actually.

Yeah, it seemed like a masterpiece back then but maybe it was cuz of all the hype I had cuz clearly it wasn't nearly as impressive as their older stuff. I will say the lyrics aren't that bad and "Speak of the Devil", "Underclass Hero" and "March of the Dogs" aren't bad at all.

Honestly, I thought it was a great album two years ago. I listened to every song thinking it was "amazing" and even learned parts of songs on the guitar. I listened to it from when it came out all the way to the next spring, and then I got extremely tired of it. So basically, I thought it was good at first but not anymore.

i like it.
Children of the beast embrace,
To scorn and the human race,
Consume the light that hugs the earth,
And aid the womb in giving birth,
To a group that will appear,
And guide you through this final year,
The dark armies then will come,
When the sum is 41

well when it first came out, it was perfect for me. I didn't really like chuck at the time, and I was really into the pop-punk thing, and really missed the old sum 41. I thought it was the most amazing thing ever.......but now, my tastes have changed alot. chuck/dtli are my favorites now, because I'm into harder/metal stuff now, I'm not big on pop punk as much anymore. so yeah, I don't love it as much as I used to. BUT I know it's only because my tastes have changed since then, not because it's a bad CD. I do still like it
