[Bass Cone]

A barren war field exists in my mind
At each end cowering troops linger waiting for the next attack
One side gains confidence and fires
The bright lights from the explosions blinds all from the true nature of such actions
Many have died on both sides
Few have died in this attack
For a minute, chaos ensues in the volatile battleground
The other side fires back until a sense of balance once again floats in the dusty air
The soldiers are still on edge
None can afford to waver for none can accept either side winning or losing
No one wants to die
No one wants to kill
So the battle continues
Completely unsuccessful
Harmful to the mind
But inside no one is conviction
Just random spouts of confidence on either side
And so the troops linger
