Recording New Song, New Journal

Deryck and myself are going into the studio to record a new song today. It's a fucking ripper so we're pretty excited.

Tomorrow we pack up all our shit because we fly to NYC on Tuesday to start up the Offspring Tour. It's going to be awesome.

The first show is at the Roseland Ballroom which is one of our favorite venues.

We'll be update this journal from the road so check back often for more updates!!

I guess like we all assumed, those are all demos. Plus in the AbsolutePunk Q&A Deryck said that they are not even close to making this album... which made me go like "WHATTTT?" leading me to believe the album might be out like next summer or whatever.

im guessing the album will be done around febuary or march
cause they seem to have alot of stuff written
and a shitload of demo ideas
and they do have atleast 1 song recorded right?

Yeah, plus in the Absolute Punk discussion Deryck said that they are still considering producers for the new album. I don't think they'd start tracking album songs without even choosing a producer yet
