I love how they said that this album is going to be more power pop than punk rock, but by this clip and the demo for 21st Century Breakdown it sounds more punk than power pop. That's a good thing though!

LOVE IT, classic Green Day sound, catchy from the first few seconds, and like Anthony said, it's more punk than power pop. Well the first demo we heard was a little power-pop-y, but I don't think the album will be much.

The beginning reminds me off Foxboro Hot Tubs.

Well, that sounds okay, not too special, sounds to me like a crossover between AI era Green Day and Foxboro Hot Tubs. Doesn't sound too special.

Official Green Day Website wrote:04-02 - PREMIERE OF NEW SINGLE "KNOW YOUR ENEMY"

The opening tease of CBS Sports' 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship Game on Monday, April 6 (9:00 PM, ET) will feature :90 seconds from the song "Know Your Enemy," the first single from the long awaited new album 21st Century Breakdown, due out Friday, May 15th, from Grammy® Awarding winning band Green Day.
Cool, I'll get to watch a good basketball game and hear some good music.

And according to Green Day Authority, the 90 second preview will also be on the official site and MySpace as well. So someone can get on that and rip that shit because I don't know how to do it.

After a longer preview, there's definitely more of a pop influence on the song.

Here's the video of the Basketball game it previewed on. Looks like it includes some clips of what might be the new music video. That being said... LOL @ the fire behind the band, which made an appearance in Underclass Hero.
