Rollerblading Tips

Post by Sara »

There was a topic about skateboarding, but this one's about roller blading in specific.
Well I don't know how to skateboard so  I stick to my in-line skates.
When I go roller blading I just roam around like I'm walking, no tricks. And it's getting boring, but I suck at tricks, etc..
I'm practicing jumping, I'm starting out small as fuck.
I go roller blading almost daily.
Does anyone rollerblade? Any tips for the noob?

A little while ago I was kinda intoo inline skating (back to skateboarding after that lol). I dunno if you're talking about just riding around, or jumping and grinding ledges and stuff...

If I were you, Id start with some flat jumps. And when you got that try to jump off curbs and stuff. Then try some spinning and after that combine all of that!! Then you can start working on grabs and shit!

Grinding isnt that hard but it can be scarry as hell! If you want to grind something take your time to get the balls (or whatever you got )to do it and keep trying.

I went out today, I practiced my jumps, damn I suck!! D= But I just started with jumps, I'll give it a bit of time. Thanks! I feel like grinding is a bit too advanced =P And besides there are no poles lying around. So I'll try that later on. Way later =P

I just gave up skating, I didn't want to die. But yeah, everyone suck at the beginning, that's just a matter of training....
Good luck :winkwink:

Woah! I wonder how long it'll take ME. xD I'm also planning on starting skateboarding, soon. So that's going to be even harder. I used to go biking, but also, no tricks or anything. My bike's fucked up now.

Skateboarding is the best sport I ever did! I really recommend trying that, I love it way more than Inline Skating! I also did a little bike riding lol.
But I sucked at it, a bike is to big for me to pull tricks on :silly:

Sure here it is: http://www.theresnosolution.com/forum/v ... =39&t=8574

There's this empty parking lot somewhere around my house. There were some bricks lying around. I fixed them yesterday and I'm practicing my jumps over them. I'm getting better. It's getting easier! :glad: I'm going again in a couple of hours.
