O, BTW, if you check out there faq page you'll find:

EMI consists of 70 music labels representing over 1,500 artists spanning every market and genre

now they dont list every single one of those 70 music labels that they OWN, but id be surprised if they didnt own universal/island.

thats because theres a difference between EMI and EMI Canada, and Sum 41 is under EMI Canada because their owned by universal
