Anyone looking forward to this game? I'm not a big gamer or anything, hell, I barely managed to get past level 21 in Call of Duty 4, but I'm kind of excited to get this game.
Flak Jacket perk ftw against all those Martyrdom bitches!

Re: Call of Duty: World at War
It's not made by the guys that made Call of Duty 4, so it will be just like Call of Duty 3. Which is crap compared to CoD2.
But everyone will buy it anyways because it's called Call of Duty

Re: Call of Duty: World at War
Anybody else played the Beta for CoD: World at War besides me yet?
It's cool sure.. but the SAME thing as Call of Duty 4.
The guns are pretty much like CoD4 with different names, same perks, you even have a radar. Three kills gets you the radar scan, five gets you an artillery strike, and get this; ten kills doesn't get you a chopper, but instead you call in the hounds. The hounds chase down everyone and bite them to death, but you can kill them... unlike a chopper. That's basically the most innovative thing in Call of Duty: Word at War.

Does it have Blood in it? all the other COD games don't have blood in them, i hate that.

I won't have much to worry about if it's on par with CoD4.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War
I dunno about it.
I don't like WWII games. Its the same thing everytime.
Though this looks pretty good.
I'll rent around thanksgiving so if I do decide I want it someone can pick it up before they're done with their christmas shopping.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War
I have yet to hear a bad review about the online beta from anyone who has played it. They said that the maps are really big, and that there's like 65 ranks you can get to, which is 10 more than COD4's 55. I don't know how true that is just yet, because no one on the game has gotten that high I don't think... but whatever. I also heard that the shotguns pwn life even though they can only hold two bullets.
I hope they have at least one small map. Shipment is the smallest map ever, but it's one of the most fun maps on cod4 if you don't suck at fast ground gaming.
