I really liked it (especially your voice) but I think you should change some guitar parts in the beginning since hearing that riff over and over for so long makes it kinda boring.

thanks a lot guys I really appreciate it. I agree I need to get a mic lol. I came up with that riff on my acoustic, then switched it over to the electric. I also agree it needs a variation in chords in the verses or bridge, I'll work on that. I loved the little "bass" part so I added it in the song, not sure if it fits just right though. And I love deryck's writting style and the uncommon words he uses, so that was my inspiration.
