Free RR Records Album

I'm not sure if anyone knows about this but you can legally download a free album from Roadrunner Records. You don't get to pick the songs but there are two album choices, one filled with singles from all of the heavy metal bands that are signed with RR Records and one from all of the other bands signed with them. Some of the most popular bands there are DragonForce, Slipknot, Airbourne, Sammy Hagar, and Black Stone Cherry. I know, not the best collection but it's pretty good for free.

Here's how you get it.

1. Sign-up for an account at http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com and they will send you an email confirming it.

2. Use the temporary password in the email to get in, you can change your password right at the top of the page. (You don't need to fill out any more than that.)

3. Click "Confirm and Give Me My Album" at the bottom of the page. This will confirm your subscription.

4. A big shiny red button to download the album will appear under your profile picture when you are logged in!

There you go! Free music!

No, it's still illegal, but you can't be prosecuted for it anymore. I think that if you get caught you're internet provider shuts off your internet.

Anyway, I don't think those are albums are split between an album with singles from their greatest bands and a one with the smaller bands. Its just that one is a hard rock collection of the softer stuff on Roadrunner, and the other is like all the heavy metal stuff, the thrash, death, power...

First you get a warning. If you continue to do it then your in trouble. (I read it somewhere)
Then when they shut off your net, you just switch providers.
