I feel horrible for all of you that can't listen to whatever you want to listen to because your parents feel like it is inappropriate. I agree with them, though, to an extent. I wouldn't want my kids listening to a band as obnoxious as Avenged Sevenfold either.
Thank god my mom doesn't mind because she knows that my life revolves around my music, and she knows I'm not stupid enough to let it effect me in a negative way. She also is aware that my music taste is better than the average person ;).
