Hm...seems to me maybe Dave should be on the cover, on account of he was in the band for the vast majority of the "greatest hits"...maybe like, a little pic of him, chillin' off to the side or something? haha

Ah well. I'm sure he still gets royalties for the songs being on the album/albums being sold, so s'all good! haha

That's what I thought too. He was in the band 4/5 albums Sum 41 had. So, you know.

But I heard in some interview or something that Deryck gets the majority of the royalties. The royalties that Dave gets aren't enough to really support him enough. Since he only got royalties for the solos.

I expect Deryck does get more, being the primary writer as well as a performer...but the rest of the guys in the band get royalties for performing the songs. Every album/dvd/whatever sold gives the band members money. So Dave will still have some coming in from sales of the old albums and should have some from the songs he played on the new Best of Album...that all being said, though, most of any band's money comes from their concerts...which Dave gets no money from Sum 41's shows now...

But yeah. Should still be some bling, if he didn't get to have a photo on the front. I'd photoshop him in, if I knew how to photoshop haha
