So is Steve but I don't hear him dis it
well, steve is still part of the band. im sure if he didnt like it, he would have said so before it was recorded.
the sums might have left it off the album, or worked at it to make it better

agreed. dave's like, well im so happy im not a part of it anymore and i always loved metal the most, i just did it becuz we were friends etc. why did he even started to be a part of the band when he doenst like this kind of music,. now hes gone, so lets diss the rest of it.
i think its not fair!
i disslike a lot of things in life, but i dont have to tell the whole world about it!
I didn't like Brownsound (the name, not Dave) all that much. Maybe Dave grew off of that name, I do not know.
With me, I just do not like referring to Dave as 'Brownsound.'
I think also Dave is a bit more metal than Steve...Just my opinion though.
Dave is only who he is due to the talent of Deryck. to be honest, Dave would be a nobody if he wasn't in Sum 41. He became famous due to songs Deryck wrote, think about it.
Curtis has a point. Dave wouldn't have been famous if he wasn't in Sum 41. It made him. Deryck's writing talents obviously had a role in what the guitar riffs would be because they would need an upbeat rhythm to upbeat lyrics. Take In Too Deep, for example - my favourite song from AKNF, and Dave could only put a solo like that in it because Deryck made it so. I know it sounds kinda jumbled but yeah, I think you get the point.
As for the whole 'Dave likes metal' job: "Maiden and Priest were the Gods that we praised". Who wrote that song? Deryck and Stevo.
how couldnt you like him??/ he never did anything wrong in the band. he was probably the "nicest" member of the band, although the other 3 are all really nice..
