I found it too complicated too to use,

there's great programme called: Reaper for recording

here's link: http://www.reaper.fm/download.php

someone mentioned on another topic here, says evaluation licence, but seems to still be working a week solid.

well i don't really want to use another program, becaus this cost like a hundred something dollars. i'd like to figure it out.

and yes i tried looking up manual online and i followed the steps up until one point where i got stuck.
this is what the instructions said:
2. Locate the Inspector. The Inspector will be located in the far left columnof the project window. If you cannot see the Inspector, please refer to pages52.and 53 of the Operation Manual in Cubase's Help menu for pictures of whatit looks like and where to find it.
3.In the Inspector, under the main page, you will see two rows, one marked "in:" forinput, and the other, "out:" for output. Set the input to whateverinput channels that you want (input channels, as you recall, are determinedand activated in the VST Inputs window). To use the main outputs, leave outset on BUS 1.
At this point, once everything is selected and set up correctly, you canrecord- enable your track by pressing the circular "Enable Record
now i'm not exaclty sure what the inspector is, but nothing on the screen is marked "in" for input or "out" for output. or at least it is reall really hard to find. does this sound familar at all 182sins?
