My original music tastes were Blink, Sum 41, Garbage, NSYNC, and Backstreet Boys... pretty much.
but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

The first music I liked was the Beatles and the Spice Girls.
When I actually started developing a musical identity (ie. I wasn't 5 or 6), I was REALLY into Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, and Shania Twain.
Then I lost interest.
Then in 2004, I jumped right to Green Day and Sum 41.
I admittedly had a very brief Simple Plan phase in 2005 because my whole grade 7 class liked 'em.

I started out kind of weird... Eminem, Linkin Park, Sum 41.
But I really started out with CD's such as Big Shiny Tunes 6, YTV's Big Fun Party Mix, Planet Pop 2000, Planet Pop 3 and O-Town.

Yeah, I have to say the first two artists I really liked when I started out for real probably were Linkin Park and Eminem. Then Blink 182 came along, with Good Charlotte and finally Sum 41, in between Simple Plan came out of nowhere, but that phase wasn't for too long.

After that, I went full-on punk with Black Flag, The Clash, MDC, basically anything I could get my hands on. I relapsed into pop punk and now I'm into hipster garbage, folk, a bit a rap and electronic, and some other shit. I truly think I like this stage the best.
