Alarm....messenger?

okay so i have this annoying habit of forgetting to do things

is there an application, alarm, or even sidebar gadget that can alert me something to do with a message?

like

2:15 p.m.
"Bring in groceries"

i know for a fact there's one that's what your looking for; i just can't remember what it's called; i downloaded it once a while back..
