Chuck was also the first CD I ever physically bought with my own money.
But the first artist/album I got into was Eminem. He was pretty big back when I was 13, so that's all I listened to for the year until my brother bought Does This Look Infected?.
Also, Big Shiny Tunes 6. I listened to that a lot before too.

I'm not jealous because i've never heared of those guys.
So either A...you're lying to make yourself sound "cool"/hardcore...or you're lying about being 20. Or maybe you live in a third world country?

actually, 2004.
i didn't buy CD's before that. i did make about 7 burned CDs mixed form my uncle's collection (includes Rob Zombie, ACDC, Queen, Twisted Sister Bryan Adams etc.) but, then we got a better computer and i got to check out bands. for a project in school, i decided to choose Sum 41 (mostly because they were canadian) and No Reason got me hooked. i have since gotten into many more bands. even though it was 4 years ago, it feels like forever.
you have far too much time on your hands

Haha, I remember listening to Big Shiny Tunes 4 during class one time in grade 5. I think it was a cassette version too.
I don't really feel too old to be honest. But moments like when people say they were 6 or 7 when 9/11 happened, moments like that make me feel really old.

Haha THAT makes me feel better!!! My sister had "The Sign" on cassette, so I didn't have to buy that one myself haha. I bought my cd player and my first cd (Alanis Morrissette "Jagged Little Pill") when I was 9, almost 10.
