Yeah it's just a pedal.
And it doesn't literally change the tuning of the guitar, it lowers the signal.
So your guitar could be in dropped D and you could plug it into the whammy pedal and then your amp and it could sound like dropped C

Sounds great! Can it also sound like dropped D or dropped C while tuned on standard tuning? cuz it'll super useful for me.
The whammy has some problems when you pick several notes at a time..
that's what i have heard..
