oh sweet a photography thread! this didnt exist last time i was here... good idea budgie
great shots janet and castaway!
i shoot with both digital and film. But i enjoy taking black and white film shots most and when i can get the chance, develop them myself in the darkroom. Heres a selection of my black and white film photos, i will upload some of my digitals later
(click the pic and it'll open a slideshow)

I really love these two, the black and white captures it well ^__^
Most of my stuff is posted on my deviantart http://stephaniekm.deviantart.com/ and shot using my 400D cannon aka my baby.
however because of schooling I have had little time to post anything substantial
Would love the feed back though !
heres a taste

i would quite like to get into concert photography myself but alas i enjoy jumping around in the mosh too much
ill have to take a look at your deviantart later on (currently dealing with capped internet speed, tis frustratingly slow)

Stephanie, that camera you've got is pretty decent, i have got a shitty cheap one, i'm planning on buying a Nikon, if i wasn't in a hurry at the moment, i'd comment your pictures aswell, they look pretty good.

Thanks! Yeah nikons great. the only piece of advice i could give you was that A cannon might cost you more at teh start but to get them fixed and lens etc are a far better price than that of like Nikons and other brands. well thats what its like here (australia) I'm assuming it would be the same everywhre else
