yeah, pretty gd line up with some heavier bands. i went last year and the line up is no where near as gd as this time round.
i went exit fest in serbia this year. was a bit of a trek but also did some sight seeing in eastern europe. saw N.E.R.D, hives adn sex pistols to name a few.

yea i went last year as well, the only highlights for me were Brand New, Jimmy Eat World, Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Talent and Lethal Bizzle!!burnout wrote:yeah, pretty gd line up with some heavier bands. i went last year and the line up is no where near as gd as this time round.

brap...yeah lethal B was awesome. that bottle fight at the begining was jokes. billy talent were pretty gd too. i was really disappointed by the chillies though. they played some gd songs but the set just had to many jams that it got a bit boring. Ash and kings of leon were gd too.
Re: Reading/Leeds Festival 2008
some pretty good bands there. killers, the fratellis and the enemy are quite shit though.
i recommend
the subways, feeder, editors, the raconteurs and foals.
oh, the music are playing!
and in case of fire, on the new bands stage.
i wanna go to reading next year

Re: Reading/Leeds Festival 2008
yea, i thought the Chilies sucked aswell, i only saw the first 20 mins of them, me and my mates got bored, went and bought some light sabre's and went and saw We Are Scientists. we were running round hitting everyone with our cool light sabre's, lolburnout wrote:brap...yeah lethal B was awesome. that bottle fight at the begining was jokes. billy talent were pretty gd too. i was really disappointed by the chillies though. they played some gd songs but the set just had to many jams that it got a bit boring. Re: Reading/Leeds Festival 2008
haha, band called Holy Fuck.
Re: Reading/Leeds Festival 2008
kinda off topic:
how come all the shite beers sponsor festivals?
reading - carling (though i think they stopped)
oxegen - heineken
t in the park - tennants
glastonbury - carlsberg
at most of these, the only beer on sale is the one which sponsors it.
why cant something nice, like magners, sponsor a festival?
