I don't think this will work but try this;
Hopefully your running XP
1. Start Menu > Run;
2. Type the following: %appdata%
3. Find the delete the folder Apple [And iTunes if there is one]
4. Run iTunes
[Like I said, I don't think this will work,]
My next idea was to downgrade to an older version of iTunes

Re: Itunes Hel[
The original disk should have quicktime, as it and iTunes comes as a pair, iTunes cannot be launched with quicktime, if worst comes to worst, get Real Player, it may be shite but it will allow you to transfer music to your iPod.

Ok. I got it on my computer and i even got it to say itunes cannot open open because the liberary was made bby a later version. So, what is the oldest version of itunes that will support 3 generation ipod naos?boniboyblue wrote:The original disk should have quicktime, as it and iTunes comes as a pair, iTunes cannot be launched with quicktime, if worst comes to worst, get Real Player, it may be shite but it will allow you to transfer music to your iPod.

Delete the libary then, If I remember correctly it's in your "My Music" folder as a folder called "iTunes"; Delete that folder, [UNLESS all your music is within that folder, if it is, move it somewhere then delete that folder]. This will make iTunes create a new library and all you have to do is add the music files again, easy as pieP. wrote:Ok. Re: Itunes Hel[
But that just leaves me with and out dated usless itunes. I might not have posted this but the whole reason i posted this is because i cannot get itunes to suport my new 3 generation ipod nano... Leaving me with an old version of itunes won't help.boniboyblue wrote:Delete the libary then, If I remember correctly it's in your "My Music" folder as a folder called "iTunes"; Delete that folder, [UNLESS all your music is within that folder, if it is, move it somewhere then delete that folder]. Ok. I figured it out. For anyone who gets this problem do this
Start, My Computer, C Drive, Program Files, Itunes, Right Click On The Blue Music Note One, Find Compadibility, uncheck it.
