So i got my new ipod (3rd generation 8gb nano) and i downloaded the itunes 7.7
http://www.apple.com/downloads/ I install it on my computer and when i go to open itunes it says
QuickTime failed to initialize (error -2069)Quicktime is required to run itunes, please reinstall itunes.
I have quicktime and my computer and i can get it to open to the apple + quicktime screen.
Whe i try and reinstall itunes. It gives me a repair button. (I tried that and the same error came up.) The other one was completely reomve itunes from your computer. I would lose my songs then so i can't do that.
Can anyone help me!!!????

Zune is a MP3/MP4 player, in my opinion it is better than a iPod in both performance and price. Aalivable official only in America and Canada. Although I bought mine from eBay

No, your songs will not be deleted, iTunes will be removed from your C:\Program Files\iTunes folder, and it might remove the application settings from C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\iTunes

Ok. I took off itunes andd quicktime and i pu them back on and the same error occured... i'm going to try again right now
