The Pro has more memory and is faster, I think. It is also bigger and has a bigger screen. It also has a DVD burner, which I don't think the regular MacBook has.

The Pro also costs like $1000 more. At least that's what I'm seeing in my Best Buy flyer.

anyways nik, another question, can you see what recording gear/mics/PA systems/amps/pedals/preamps/mixers their using while recording during pre production? I know this is asking alot but, I'd like to know what stuff their using?

lol My grandpa bought me one with his company's money for Christmas. I needed one for school he said. Macs are awesome, it's so easy to make movies, songs and shit on them. Deryck ftw if he has a Mac.

On Avril's album making-of, in the "Contagious" bit, which is essentially a whole "Deryck and Steve, yay!" thing, Deryck has his laptop and it is clearly big and silver. And it's in REALLY good quality so you can clearly see what it is.

Regular macbooks can also have DVD burners, just not the cheapest ones.
