Re: Sum41/SBM Discussion!

I always dreamt about a Guitar Hero/Rock Band Sum 41 edition (like the Green Day game), it'd have been so cool to play their songs (more than just their singles) through their history. Haha. While that certainly would be neat, sadly the band is not big enough for this to happen. The thing about roc...

If anyone has the game "Rocksmith" they just added Sum 41 DLC-pack. Has We're all to Blame, Still Waiting, Hell Song, In too Deep and Fat Lip. Pretty awesome.

He's referring to Deryck's own website.
Ahaha. That very much explains. :]

Re: Message from Deryck Whibley (May 16, 2014)

Maybe it's time to change the Jack Daniels inspired layout of the website? What?.. I'm not someone who designed this but I think that black as a base color, a bit of red here and there and a rectangular shapes hardly make it Jack Daniels inspired?.. I really like the design here at the moment and i...

Sad news but let's hope for a quick recovery. Human body, as frail as it is, can still recover from a LOT and it never ceases to amaze me. And to carr, we all get it by this point that you're some kind of an clairvoyant or someone who had knowledge of Derycks personal life. Most people on this forum...

Re: New Linkin Park single "Guilty All The Same"

"Guilty All The Same" Actually reminds me of Screaming Bloody Murder-album in it's melody... Not a bad song, I just don't like Chester(?)s voice at all.. It's too nasal or thin or something for my liking.

With that said, I do remember reading that Deryck was speaking with labels like Warner Bros, so hopefully someone will have them
If Deryck wants the artistic freedom and no-one telling him to write albums more quickly I think they should sign to some much smaller label haha.

Woah. I really like the acoustic version of BIME! It's kinda simple, but that's ok - it works.
The kinda "bassy" sound that Deryck has in his voice on this version is really cool, if someone gets what i mean haha.

Re: Fat Lip one of Top Punk songs

Yeah, I agree as well that We're all to Blame is not necessarily too "heavy" for radio, but not what people expected just like Jeremy nicely put it. Pieces on the other hand got quite a decent amount of radio play if I'm not mistaken - which, I guess, was also a song people didn't expect f...

Re: Anime

I don't really care where a cartoon is from - if it's good it's good. That's why I also like some (quite a lot actually) anime. My favourite anime-movie is The Grave of The Fireflies - that's actually a movie I think everyone should see at least once. Out of tv-series I don't really care for those s...

Re: Interview with Deryck (New)

Damn great! I'm sure Deryck will find a drummer that is most likely more skilled in beating the drums than Stevo - who was great already. What's the most difficult thing in replacing Stevo though, is the fact that he was such an great person.

Re: Sum41/SBM Discussion!

It annoys me that the chorus of BYDWK goes : "What I'm gonna do, not around". Is it just me or doesn't he sing the "...when you're..." ? Like Tomi said he does sing the you're part. Doesn't annoy me. What does however, is the fact that the melody in the "Baby you don't wann...

unfortunately, that's wrong side of the country. TPB were from the maritimes (Eastern Canada) and this is Western Canadian idioms.
I'm sorry I generalized the whole canadian population under one stereotype. :p

Re: Blood In My Eyes (Live)

The song has some great riffs, great instrumental bridge and interesting vocal delivery on the verse, but the chorus is kinda bleh. When I usually listen to the song I skip to the next track when the final chorus comes. I can see why it'd not be too popular as a live song.
