Re: The Best Long Song

So because those bands don't mainstream, then they suck? Lol. You should've learned it by now, that the underground bands are more unique and talented, than the mainstream shit. Anyway, I really like Green Day I ever thought that The Beatles were just untalented bunch of not musicians ... I like th...

Re: The Best Long Song

JoS is overrated. Ok, it's one of Green Day's best songs, but come on, there are a lot of better long songs out. Some of my favourite 10+ min songs: - The Mars Volta - Cicatriz ESP - Converge - Jane Doe - La Dispute - The Last Lost Continent And AFI's "...But Home Is Nowhere" is pretty go...

Re: Rise Against VS Sum 41

I doubt you can call them screamo. Some guy on punknews labeled them as "punk without pop, hardcore without metal, emotion without the frigging whining". That's basically how I feel about them. The Killing Tree is like that too, Tim's old band. They're AMAZING. Tim's old band is .baxter.....

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!

I think its funny some sources are still saying Aug 31st is the release date, makes people come on here and think they have news I have no idea when its coming out, but if I was the label I'd release it in March. In order to finish this years touring, get the album art ready, release a single, make...

That's the good thing in The Unraveling. It's a great hardcore punk album and I think Alive and Well is a great song.

Re: Rise Against VS Sum 41

Rise Against is obviously better. Their first 3 albums are great. It's a pity that the Sufferer & the Witness is not that good, and Appeal to Reason is shit. They're going downhill. Dude, I love TS&TW. It's better than ATR. The Good Left Undone and Prayer Of The Refugee? Yeah, TS&TW is ...

Re: A Day to Remember new album

I am pretty sure that Rites of Spring really fits into the legit "emo" genre. Early TBS as well as Funeral For a Friend and Silverstein, could really have fit in with an "emocore" genre, but I think it's easier to call them "post-hardcore", which is pretty much the ter...

Re: The Word Alive

They're not that bad, but this electronic influenced (post-)hardcore got really boring in the last few years. The only band I like is Enter Shikari.

Re: A Day to Remember new album

Metalcore? HAHAHA! If you have heard their new album, it had a lot of metalcore to it. When people talk of "emocore", I think of music like early Taking Back Sunday, even though I highly disagree that emocore really is much of a genre... the majority of buzz around websites like AP.net co...
