Re: Tour story: Seven heavens

Thanks for sharing! Love the little tidbits from the aftermath of the last show, especially the Gossio Girl part. I'm gonna have to bug Tom about that one day! Haha. (I'm a fan, too!).

Re: Tour Announcement! No Personal Space Tour '19

I am still reeling after reading about the set last night! I mean, I know why they pulled out the old gems, because it's a club tour and all, but I hope Toronto gets some surprising treats in the summer, too!

I just heard the world premiere not long ago, and since then, I've listened to it so many times more! It has a theatrical feel, much like 13 Voices and its title track, and even some borrowed elements like that faded laugh at the end of the duration. I expect the same feel for the rest of the album,...

Definitely made my commute to work exciting -- even almost missed my bus stop. :devious:

Looking forward to the next one with Dave, and the upcoming chat with Cone!

Re: TNS Live Chats with Dave and Cone!

Oh, man, that "soon" was sooner than I anticipated, and I am so excited for another aweSUM opportunity! You can bet I will be chatting while "working" at my desk both days. :devious: In the meantime, I want to dig up old TNS chat transcripts -- we have come along way since the la...

Re: Sum 41 fan mail

I'm here to add to the social media suggestion: the band definitely do go out of their way to connect with fans and can get to know you most through there than anywhere else. We are lucky for their activity online! But, man, I remember too when the only form of communication was through their offici...

I'm not too fussed about this skipping Canada, seeing as I attended DTLI10. This tour ends just before Warped Tour starts up, too. I guess it's a great celebration for Dave, too!

I was there! They also performed "War", and I'll have that one up probably tomorrow. I'm still not done processing yesterday, haha.

Edit: I just saw you're from Ontario. Did you end up going to this event, too/ and or the show?

Re:

A question in the end: Are the regular 10-tracks CDs sold in jewel cases? 'Cause all CDs that I saw in store today were in a Digipack, regardless if regular or deluxe edition. No, at least not where I got my copy from. Both versions were the same package design, no jewel case. But, I think I did no...

To me, the forums are still quite active despite less exclusive TNS content for 13 Voices than SBM. I mean, I didn't log in for two days last week sometime, and when I did, I had a to catch up a little here. It's been fun! There's still a lot of interaction and sound off to me, which is still just a...

Re: Anybody Get The VIP Packages for the tour?

I assumed there is 6 people for Pull the Curtain per show, because I remember seeing this number next to the package. It's not there now, but it was before the packages went on sale. I'm not too sure about it, because I have Reason to Believe, which I know is two people per show. Regarding people ge...

Re: Rank Sum 41's Records!

It's a slight blend of what made Underclass Hero and Screaming Bloody Murder so good. I agree. Honestly, I hear Underclass Hero and Screaming Bloody Murder in 13 Voices. Not sure if I'm the only one who has, but it's something I heard throughout the first listen. Right now, I don't think 13 Voices ...

Re: 13 Voices: the poll!

Even processing the album after the weekend, it's still hard for me to choose my top track from this album. The tracks I enjoy most would be 13 Voices, The Rise and the Fall, Murder of Crows, God Save Us All (Death to POP), and acoustic versions of War and Breaking the Chain. Those acoustic bonus tr...

Did anyone else who did VIP get an e-mail saying they will be refunded some money, but the VIP hasn't changed? I find that kinda odd, and I wonder why... I haven't gotten any emails in regards to this. Maybe it only affects certain VIP packages? I got "Pull the Curtain" if that makes any ...

Re: Oct. 5th

I kind of was expecting a little more from the setlist, but all the new tracks premiered live and their positive response makes me happy because we didn't get SBM tracks staying during its touring cycle, (and even now). I'm hopeful we may get some more "old school" tracks Deryck had mentio...

Re: 13 Voices

The performance itself was just fine, although the drums could have been mixed better and I don't like Deryck's guitar sound to 100% (sounded even not perfectly in tune). Somehow the light show reminded me of Lopez Tonight when they performed SBM a few years back haha. I thought the exact same abou...
