No I think there is a lot more to this. Increasing tension in the band during SBM tour was stated by Deryck during an interview recently. Deryck and Steve definitely have differences. There isn't any doubt.

I haven't been on this site in a long time. Its obvious Deryck and Steve have some beef since his departure. Deryck doesn't mention him or speak to him (even when they both attended the same AC/DC concert or whatever show it was).

Anybody have any other info on this?

That was HORRIBLE haha. The second show must have been much better because The Hell Song sounded amazing.

I doubt there's any type of "contract" or something to make them do the rest of the 41 shows. That idea was the dumbest thing I ever heard of in the first place. Definitely something their management thought of.

Of the videos posted in here, they sounded fine. The Hell Song sounded great.

My only gripe is that if somebody compared his look during UH era (face) and SBM then they'd probably ask if he got cancer.

I made this thread about Cone. Dave was included because that's what happened, he left. But say if there was never any discussion of anybody leaving I still wouldn't have minded Cone not being in Sum 41. This thread wasn't meant to be about Dave, but I guess everybody else wanted it to be.

How much longer do you think they will be? I think they have another album or two, but I bet a new album won't come until 2015.

Tom should have taken over bass and Dave stayed on lead. That would be a cooler Sum 41.

No Chuck stuff allowed until Tom gets a better fucking tone. ITS HORRIBLE! Dave had AMAZING TONE.

DTLI is Sum 41's best work. It feels so right, like it was done quickly (which it was) but not rushed. Hard to explain what I mean.
