i agree with the general consensus. boss and digitech arent all that great. but then again what you pay is what you get. im currently using a rothwell hellbender for overdrive, but if you want distortion, go for the rothwell switchblade. these are boutique pedals hand made in the uk. and they sound ...

hey. i have a suggestion for the dudes who modded their guitars. i think ur telecasters have 250k ohm pots in them. to give ur guitar a richer, brighter, "twangier" sound, replace them with 1meg ohm pots.

hey thanks all for the positive feedback.
to answer those questions.
for the drums, i used a combination of guitarpro 5 and FL studio 7.
for the guitar recording, i used audacity.
all in all it took around 6-7 hours to complete.
it doesnt sound very nice on youtube. better if it was stereo.
