Re: What amp should I buy?
If money is important (and you live in Europe), get a Harley Benton HB-80R (thomann.de). They are good sounding, cheap amps (this one with Celestion loudspeaker!).

Re: Marshall Amp help
You should better avoid the MGs. Try to get an older ValveState instead (eg. an 8040). They have hybrid preamps and solidstate poweramps. Or try out something different, the Marshalls are a bit overpriced (the cheaper ones).

Re: Sumapedia attacked by SPAM
God dammit. I wrote half that wiki. We should just do the easy thing and revert it back to how the pages were before, then get to work improving it If you revert it, it won't last long. Maybe a day. The Sumapedia on Sum 41's website would probably be poorly managed and regulated anyway. If TNS has ...

Re: Sumapedia attacked by SPAM
The wiki has a backup function. But if you can't really wipe out the spam. If you undo all spam, it will be flooded again in a sec.finglemaster wrote:Just write everything up and keep a backup here in case it gets messed with
The ony solution would be, to forbid anon edits, and then ban the spammers.

http://ktkstudio.dynamicweb.hu/VOLT2011/index.htm 39 pictures and 3 videos from VOLT. On the 2nd video they play a few cover riffs, on the 3rd Deryck plays the 7 Nation Army riff (White Stripes) and the first few chords of Pieces(!). Notice the white Telecaster! There's a trick, but it works only with dynamic IP:
Vote, turn off your router, turn it on again (you'll get a new IP), vote again.

Re: Your amp settings and other things
<t>1) Guitar vol: <br/> Simple answer: on 10 :D<br/> But really, if you're using a solid state amp, it shoud be on 10 (maybe on a bit lower setting for a darker tone).<br/> With really hot pickups driving an overdriven tube amp, you can lower the distortion if you turn our volume lower. It works wit...

Re: old sum 41 singer?!
It's really confusing.
In the full-lenght version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuiA74D2_jA) Greig Nori uses a Marauder . I think it's the same as Deryck's. Maybe it was a present fron Greig.
And the guitar that Deryck uses is his stolen Ibanez Roadstar.

And the broadcaster is the first Fender model created if I recall correctly.. but they had to rename it due to copyright laws.. Yes, Broadcaster was/is a Gretsch drum kit. Wasn't the Broadcaster the original Telecaster? The Telecaster was first called Broadcaster, than "Nocaster" and now ...

Ok i have decided I am going for guitar first liked and was going to get. Not going to get Les Paul although they are great sounding guiars, the Gibson one's but I don't like the bridge, saddle thing and I think prefer Fender for more clear tone they have http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_custom_tele...

I got one pick from Tom, so I can tell you without a doubt what he is using : dunlop 0.73mm (they're yellow), I think it's the same for Deryck Oh and I don't like Ibanez guitars, so I can't really tell ya It's Dunlop Tortex. The guitar: I hate Superstrats, but... it's just my opinion: buy a Les Pau...

I'm a bit confused, too... Are the titles (the single and the album) the same? Are they both called SBM? Is that one song the single or there will be any other tracks (b-sides)?

It's Tortex .73mm (the yellow one) I use them but it's not because they use it :D I tried 6 guitar picks and this one fits me the best.
The best picks, indeed.
